1. Introduction
Tekton Services LLC ("Tekton," "we," "us," or "our") operates an SMS-coordinated home services business. Tekton sells home-service jobs to customers as merchant of record and engages independent contractors ("Contractors") as vendors to perform the work.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you use our website, SMS numbers, quotes, booking, payment, or Contractor network tools (together, the "Service").

2. Information we collect
Depending on whether you are a customer or a Contractor, we may collect:
Customers
- Contact and job-site details: name, phone number, email (if provided), service address, access notes
- Service request content: job descriptions, photos you send, scheduling preferences
- Property imagery of the service address (such as aerial or parcel imagery) that we obtain from mapping or property-records sources
- SMS message content with our customer number
- Transaction information: amount, status, and limited payment metadata from Stripe (we do not store full card numbers)
- Feedback and ratings about completed jobs
Contractors
- Identity and business details: name, business/DBA, phone, email, service area, trade(s)
- Tax and payout onboarding: W-9 / TIN information, Stripe Connect account details, bank payout destination (handled largely by Stripe)
- Insurance and license attestations and documents you upload or email
- SMS message content with our contractor number
- Job performance records: accept/decline history, photos, quality-check outcomes, payouts
Automatically / technically
- Basic website log data (IP address, device/browser type, pages viewed) if you visit tektonservices.llc
- Carrier and messaging metadata needed to deliver SMS
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Sell and fulfill jobs: quote, schedule, dispatch Contractors, communicate status, and complete customer service
- Process payments: charge customers as merchant of record through Stripe; pay Contractors by ACH / bank transfer through Stripe Connect
- Operate SMS coordination on our customer and contractor numbers (see SMS Messaging Terms)
- Select and manage Contractors for a job (location, trade, availability, insurance/quality rules)
- Improve the Service (ops quality, fraud/abuse prevention, analytics in aggregate where practical)
- Meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations (including information reporting such as Forms 1099 where required)
- Enforce our Terms and protect rights, safety, and property
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share mobile phone numbers with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes.
3A. Automated processing and AI
We use automated tools, including artificial intelligence (AI) models, to help run the Service:
- Text messages. AI helps read the messages you send and draft and send many of our replies to customers and Contractors (for example, quotes, booking, scheduling, payment links, and job offers). Tekton staff can review conversations and step in. See Section 3A of our SMS Messaging Terms.
- Photos and property imagery. AI analyzes photos you send and imagery of the service address to estimate size and scope for a quote, using a fixed set of categories (for example, surface type, approximate area, and condition). We do not use these tools for facial recognition or to identify people who appear in photos.
- Contractor insurance documents. AI reads insurance certificates that Contractors upload to check coverage. A person reviews any document the automated check does not accept.
Prices come from Tekton’s set rate cards and formulas, and Contractors are offered jobs based on fixed dispatch rules. The AI does not set prices or choose Contractors.
We do not sell information processed by these tools or share it for third-party marketing. We keep it according to Section 7 (Retention).
4. How we share information
We share information only as needed to run the Service:

| Service providers | Hosting, SMS/telecom, email, analytics, or support tools under contracts that limit use to providing services to us |
| AI and cloud providers | Amazon Web Services (AWS) hosts our systems and runs the AI models we use (Anthropic models through Amazon Bedrock). AWS processes message content, photos, property imagery, and uploaded documents to provide those services to us. AWS states that model developers do not have access to the prompts and responses processed through Amazon Bedrock. AWS may also screen content for abuse and safety under its terms. |

5. Mobile / SMS privacy
Your mobile number and SMS content are used to provide the Service and related operational messages. They will not be shared or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS; reply HELP for help. Opt-out details are in our SMS Messaging Terms.
6. Florida / security notes
We take reasonable measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure (including encryption in transit where appropriate, access controls, and vendor diligence). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
If a breach of personal information affects Florida residents in a way that triggers notice under Florida’s Information Protection Act (Fla. Stat. § 501.171), we will provide notice as required by law.
Geolocation and other job-site data may be treated as personal information when linked to you; we use it to dispatch and fulfill jobs.
7. Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including job records, tax/payout records, dispute/chargeback windows, legal holds, and SMS opt-out lists (so we can honor STOP). Retention periods vary by record type.
8. Your choices and rights
You may:
- Request access to personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion, subject to legal and operational retention needs (for example, completed-job and tax records)
- Opt out of SMS by replying STOP

9. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy by posting a new version with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes apply going forward. Continued use of the Service after posting means you accept the updated Policy for new activity.
