About Our Service

Tekton Services is an SMS-based home services platform that connects customers with trusted local contractors. All communication between customers, contractors, and our service is conducted via text message.

Our SMS Numbers

Tekton Services operates two separate SMS numbers, each with its own intended audience:

Tekton Services proxies customer-to-contractor and contractor-to-customer communication through these two numbers so neither party sees the other's personal phone number. Customers should not text the contractor number, and contractors should not text the customer number.

How We Collect Consent

Customers: Customers initiate contact by sending a text message to Tekton Services at (848) 283-5866. By sending this first message, you provide your consent to receive SMS messages from Tekton Services related to your home service request. Immediately after your first inbound message, Tekton Services sends a compliance reply identifying the brand, stating the expected message frequency, noting that message and data rates may apply, and describing how to reply STOP to opt out and HELP for assistance. A conversational reply from our agent follows separately.

Contractors: Prospective contractors apply to join the Tekton Services network through our public web application at https://tektonservices.llc/contractors.html. The application form includes an explicit, separately-labeled SMS consent checkbox (not pre-selected) specifying that, by checking the box, the contractor agrees to receive SMS messages from Tekton Services at (888) 786-8579 regarding job opportunities, quote requests, job assignments, payments, and related service communications, at a frequency of approximately 5 to 15 messages per job, that Msg&Data rates may apply, and that the contractor may reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out. Consent to SMS is not a condition of applying; contractors may also apply by emailing info@tektonservices.llc. An administrator confirms the contractor's consent before any SMS messages are sent from the Tekton Services contractor line.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies with the complexity and duration of your service request. A typical request involves 5 to 15 messages per service interaction; requests with multiple quotes, rescheduling, disputes, or refunds may involve more. We do not send marketing or promotional messages.

Opting Out

You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time. Reply STOP to any message from Tekton Services to unsubscribe. After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further texts will be sent.

Privacy

Your phone number is used solely for service-related communications through the Tekton Services platform. We will not share, sell, or provide your mobile information to third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
